After many years of trusty service I finally decided to get a new mask. I still like my low volume, Sportsmans Warehouse special but after the lenses started popping out at the most inoppertune times I decided it was time for an upgrade.

Being particular towards ScubaPro gear I decided to go for the Crystal Vu. What drew me to this mask was the clear panels on either side. Having used a wrap around mask (I'm not sure my old mask was meant to go to deapth) masks without the side panels make me feel as though i am looking at the world through a tunnel.

The mask more than lived up to my expectations as far as field of view is concerned.

The nose pocket is a little big and took some getting used to. It probably had something to do that I was using my wifes gloves for the first time but it took some time to master clearing this mask.

The mask comes in three colors, red, silver and black. I went for the silver as it goes with the rest of my outfit (yes i colour code ;)

All in all I am extremely happy with my new mask and trust that i'll be using it until it begins to disintegrate on me.
